Rollei Paul & Reinhold BW film

Rollei Paul & Reinhold is a new limited edition 640 Black and White film produced in Italy, most likely by the Film Ferrania company known for their Ferrania P30 film. The Rollei Paul & Reinhold film is quite flexible. It has an ISO range of roughly 320 to 1600 ISO and can therefore be used in most circumstances.

To test this film, I used my Nikon F at boxspeed (640). Although Rollei recommends developing this film in Rollei Supergrain developer, I used Kodak D76 and I have to say, I really liked my results. Because it is a 640 film, you will get some visible grain, but that’s expected. In saying this, the film retains a lot of sharpness and details when shot at ISO 640.

This limited edition Rollei Paul & Reinhold film is perfect for the dark winter months, especially if you like a sharp but grainy look.
