At the age of eight years I was joining my father in the darkroom already, developing and printing black and white pictures. To this day I enjoy doing this. I still use my father’s Leica M2 that he bought in 1958 when we lived in the Dutch Caribbean. This does not mean that i never photographed digitally, but shooting analogue gives me more enjoyment and better results.
